Jiggle Privacy Policy

Appia Solutions FZCO is the Data Controller, which independently determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

By commencing the process of opening an Account, and subsequently using that Account, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and expressly consent to the processing and storage of your personal data as described herein. This policy applies to the Jiggle App, web wallet, and website (jigglewallet.com).

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected when you use the App, visit our website, or contact us. It does not apply to data received from third party companies or data you share with Third Party Providers through the App.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We may collect: location data from your mobile phone; device IP address; usage data (e.g. pattern recognition); email address; biometric data. We also process technical information including city, region, country, time zone, browser version, operating system, device name, app version, and currency balances.

3. How Personal Data Is Collected

We collect data via: the App upon registration or use; the Website; communications with us; social media participation; third-party sources (affiliates, credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies, payment providers, financial institutions); cookies and tracking technologies; automated technologies such as Firebase and Google Analytics; and Apple's True Depth API for biometric backup.

4. How and Why We Use Your Personal Data

Purposes include: Account administration (setup, maintenance, query resolution); legal and regulatory compliance; legitimate business interests (data analysis, service improvement, staff training, contract performance); and marketing (with your consent).

5. If You Fail to Provide Personal Data

If required personal data is not provided, we may be unable to perform our contract with you, and onboarding or service provision may be halted.

6. How Long We Keep Your Personal Data

We retain personal data as long as necessary for the stated purposes and in accordance with legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of data, nature of activity, country of the data subject, and applicable legal requirements.

7. Marketing

We may send you newsletters containing updates, special offers, and information about our products and services. We would request your consent prior to sending any such emails to ensure your preferences are respected. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any of our emails.

8. Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with: technology partners who maintain our App; successor businesses in the event of merger or sale; third parties at your request; and payment service providers at your request.

Upon your written request, we will inform you of the rights in the Jurisdiction / protection regime applicable to you. When you contact us, be sure to include your full email address as registered against your Account. If you do not include your registered email address, this will delay our ability to respond to your request.

There may be a minimal charge for accessing your Personal Information.

11. How We Protect Your Personal Data

We use physical, administrative and technical security measures including: password/PIN/biometric access controls; SSL encryption; ECDSA, EDDSA, AES, and Homomorphic encryption technologies. Biometric data is converted into a static depersonalised digital key.

Contact our Data Protection Officer at DPO@Jigglewallet.com. You may also contact: the ICO (ico.org.uk) if in the UK; the FTC if in the US; or the UAE Data Bureau or UAE Ministry of Economy's consumer complaints department.

13. Child Privacy

Our App is not intended for people under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact DPO@Jigglewallet.com if you believe we have collected data from your child.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a new version on our Website or App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
